What We Do?

Ockwells specialise in the distribution, manufacture and development of temporary protection materials for use on construction sites for offices, public buildings, commercial, warehousing, private and public house building and building refurbishment. Our extensive product offering ranges from light duty dust covers and recycled card to heavy duty flame retardant insurance certified products. Ockwells are committed to provide the best products and service possible and maintain its policy of continuous product development and innovation.

Our extensive range of Certified Protection Materials are approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and are certificated through two schemes. Exova Warrington TS62 External Temporary Covering Materials and TS63 Internal Temporary Covering Materials, and BRE LPS 1215 External Temporary Covering Materials and LPS 1207 Internal Temporary Covering Materials.

Details of both these schemes can be found in the current edition of the “Fire prevention on Construction Sites” The Joint Code of Practice on the Protection from Fire of Construction Sites and Buildings Undergoing Renovation. This document is published by the Construction Industry Publications Ltd. Fire Preventions Association, and is supported by the Association of British Insurers and the Chief Fire Officers Association London Fire Brigade.

Ockwells also draw on a vast network of manufacturers, distributors and buying societies to locate and supply a wide range of products that are not held in stock. We currently offer this service to sites situated in mainland UK, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Ireland.

Ockwells offer a rapid nationwide delivery service Monday-Friday using our own delivery fleet and carriers. Out of hours, same day and weekend deliveries can also be arranged and may incur additional charges.

We also offer a delivery service to UK ports and airports for onward export. Delivery can also be arranged to most worldwide destinations through independent operators if required.
