Crevice Bat Box
Manufactured from FSC certified exterior grade European Birch plywood with ceramic insert heat sinks and a black external colouration, the crevice bat box has been designed to warm up faster and maintain a more stable internal temperature than other bat boxes. The exterior surfaces are treated with water-based non-toxic, non-volatile wood preservative to help prolong the lifespan of the box.
Designed to suit small crevice dwelling bats, this bat box has an internal construction which is split into two separate chambers. Close fitting panels are precision cut by computer-controlled equipment to reduce draughts, improve heat retention and keep each crevice at a different temperature. A ladder at the base of the box continues inside the box to ensure the bats find it easy to access and move around within the box.
